This Northwest Hills couple loves their lot and the look of their house, but they were somewhat constrained by the age, size and shape of their early 1970s baths. They began with the Master where a patio door was replaced by operating windows for privacy, and also converted the tub to a cultured marble shower with sliding frame less glass enclosure which appears much more roomy. The old counter tops, mirrors and faucets were replaced with current materials, and the cabinet fronts were rebuilt to replace their dated predecessors. The Master Bath turned out so well that owners later called On Time Baths back to also update their Hall Bath.
This Lakeway home was built in the 80's and its guest bath was in need of updating. The owners decided that they wanted to keep the same footprint. The existing bathtub was retained but new porcelain tiles surround, shower valve/trim and shower caddy were installed. Other new selections included, cabinets, granite top, under mounted sink, faucet, medicine cabinet, and light fixture, mirror and tile floor.
The owners of this 20 year old Great Hills home wanted to update there Master Bath into a contemporary design. To keep the project in budget the existing cabinets and mirror, master tub, and the floor plan layout were kept. The shower was enlarged with new tiles, shampoo caddy, shower seat and frameless shower enclosure. The updating also included new texture on the walls and ceiling, painting, granite vanity tops with under-mounted sinks and tile backsplash, chrome plumbing fixtures, 18 x 18 tile flooring, lighting, quiet exhaust fan and bath accessories and hardware
We titled this bathroom remodel as South Austin Cool. Because the busy non-tradition owners had already make several updates and contemporary changes to other parts of their south Austin home. But their master bath was still that small gold framed glass shower enclosure next a jetted tub that they never used. They wanted a master bath that reflected their style and free spirit. We think they did a great job, the beautiful granite with the very unique color and design installed on wall mounted contemporary vanity cabinets really sets the tempo for this bath. And they have their large walk in shower with its bench seat, the two separate shower spaces and the in-wall storage space.
This Avery Ranch home was built in the late 90s and the owners wanted to redo their large bath/flex space into a contemporary spa bath, including steam shower, new soaker tub, floating wall mounted cabinets, vessel sinks, quartz counter tops, frameless shower enclosure, flat screen TV and a more open feeling than before. The first things removed were the standard production home wood columns and arch. The owner was very involved in the selections and had a very clear vision of what she wanted. Using our design staff and visiting many of the local tile suppliers, she was able to find the perfect 12 X 24 tiles for the floor. The deco tiles were a blend of two different selections that were combined to give it that totally one of a kind look. All we can say is that it is Spectacular.
This Travis Heights home was built in the 40s. The bath had been updated from time to time but it was time again. The goal was to create a shower space in place of the bathtub. The original foot print was not changed but once the bathtub was removed it was determined that the sub-floor needed to be rebuilt and leveled before starting the remodel. New items included new safety opaque glass vinyl widow, new toilet, new pedestal sink and faucet, new shower valves and trim, new tile flooring and tile shower with frameless shower enclosure.
This townhouse off Bee Caves Road was showing its age, and the owner wanted to point out its strengths by converting to a Transitional or even Contemporary look. She accomplished this by the use of painted flush cabinet doors and drawers, replacing the tub with a tile shower and frameless glass enclosure, and lots of mirrors with sconce wall lighting imbedded. You would need to have seen the prior condition to fully appreciate this great styling overhaul!
This Barton Creek Country Club Master Bathroom was already beautifulbut very 1990s. The owner wanted to take advantage of the big windows and high ceiling by introducing lighter Hill Country colors and textures. Moving the corner tub to one wall allowed the hard walls of the shower to be removed, thereby releasing the openness and volume of the room. She also got the desired Kohler body sprays, multiple shower heads, and frameless glass partition in addition to accenting the Travertine walls, floors and slab vanity tops with new framed mirrors and lighting. Voila!
The owners of this Legend Oaks house felt it was dated and too much like all of the others in the neighborhood. New finishes including floor and tub/shower tile, cabinets, cultured marble vanity top with under-mount sinks, as well as new mirrors and lighting completely changed the look and feel.
This beautiful home north of Camp Mabry was a complete redo and enlargement of the original 1960s structure. The Master Bath looks out on the big, Oak shaded back yard, and its brightness was offset by darker hues and Travertine finishes. The Girls Bath is bright and cheery and frivolous, and definitely all hers. The Boys Bath, which doubles as a Guest Bath, has is the most formal and rich appearance in conjunction with the dark brick flooring which runs through the living areas of the home.
This early 90's home’s master bath was looking very dated. The owners wanted a bath that felt more open with a transitional feel. The existing tile shower was opened up by installing a frameless shower glass enclosure and enlarged; the existing cultured marble tub was removed and a new Mirabella Acrylic soaking tub was installed and the new custom cabinets featured a glazed finish, full extension drawers, and soft close doors and drawers.Additional features included new awning/picture windows, travertine tile flooring, light fixtures, mirrors, and interior doors, ceiling fan, quiet exhaust fan, medicine cabinet and hardware.
This Condo was built in the early 80's. Typical for that time, the builder just installed a cheap oversized man made marble tub/shower. With time the tub had yellowed and cracks started showing the surface. The owner wanted a walk in shower and also had need for linen storage. On Time Baths created that shower space and was able built in a linen cabinet at the end of the shower for additional storage. A shower door was installed on the linen to not only keep items dry but create a attractive contemporary look.
The owners of this home wanted both their Master bath and Hall bath updated. The Master bath received a new free standing tub, new cabinets, granite tops, light fixtures, frame-less shower enclosure, faucets and paint. The Hall bath changes included new vanity cabinet, granite, shower/tub tile surround and new faucets.
The owner of this master bath, which is only 5 feet X 7 feet, wanted to create a shower space in place of the bathtub and to make her bath more accessible and safer. The original bath had just a 2 feet wide entrance door, which was increased to 2 feet 8 inch wide by using double doors. The tub was removed and a shower with a seat, hand-held Kohler Flip shower wand and recessed shower caddy was installed. The hand held shower wand can be hung from two different holders depending on whether the owner wants to stand up and shower or while seated use the wand as a water massager for her knee. Additional comfort and safety items include grab bars, comfort height toilet, ceiling mounted exhaust/light/heater unit and porcelain floor and base board tiles.
