This Travis Heights home was built in the 1940’s. The bath had been updated from time to time but it was in much need of an update again. The goal was to create a shower space in place of the bathtub. The original foot print was not changed but once the bathtub was removed it was determined that the sub-floor needed to be rebuilt and leveled before starting the remodel. New items included new safety opaque glass vinyl widow, new toilet, new pedestal sink and faucet, new shower valves and trim, new tile flooring and 12×24 tiled shower with frameless shower enclosure. Porcelain tiles were used on the wall with polished river stones for the shower floor. We also built a half-wall and a shower bench for the shower. Kohler brushed nickel faucet and a shower head were used to add some sparkle.
