Nowadays many people rarely use their bathtub and elect to take a shower instead. With busy schedules and the convenience of hopping in the shower, the bathtub has become obsolete for many. In this master bath we took out the bathtub and expanded the shower. With the increase in space we were able to install a towel warmer on the opposite end of the shower and have a light display in the niche. The old shower had a small niche that was not big enough to be useful, forcing the owners to store extra soap and shampoo bottles on the shower floor. We enlarged the shampoo niche and installed hooks so wash cloths could hang conveniently. Removing the bathtub completely transformed the space. What was once a basic shower now is personalized and provides all of the needs for the homeowners.
